(2) job openings within the Field Services Division to satisfy
the Field Services Representative position. Job applicants
should preferably have boiler maintenance, inspection, and/or
NDE experience within the utility boiler sector.

Provide
technical support/ consultation
-
Execute
visual inspection and NDE (non-destructive examination) of
utility fossil fueled boiler pressure parts
and auxiliary equipment
-
Apply
knowledge of tube failure mechanisms, operational factors,
and mechanical functions
-
Recommend
maintenance, repairs, speculated root-cause, analysis, and
corrective actions solutions from inspection results
-
Compile
inspection results and create recommendation reports
-
Interact
and present to plant engineers and management inspection
data and maintenance recommendations

Job Requirements

-
2-year technical degree or equivalent in work related experience
-
NDE experience preferred
-
0 to 2 years of power plant maintenance, industrial maintenance, or boiler related experience preferred
(Background will commensurate salary)

Ability to work and not be affected by confined spaces or elevated heights above ground elevation

Ability to travel extensively

Ability to work in a team environment

Strong analytical ability, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to learn

Bachelor degree in an engineering discipline (preferably mechanical)
-
1 to 5+ years of utility fossil fueled boiler operation, performance, maintenance, repairs, and materials experience preferred (Background will commensurate salary)

Boiler start-up, burner tuning, and Low NOx retrofit experience a plus
-
Ability to work and not be affected by confined spaces or elevated heights above ground elevation
-
Ability to travel extensively

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

High multi-tasking capabilities to include effective management of an inspection team

Strong analytical ability including the interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications
